Flashing in Darmstadt, A 67, km 23.0, at the AS DA-Griesheim, FR Mannheim – avoid fines, points and driving bans!

The central fines office of the regional council in Kassel accuses you of exceeding the maximum speed permitted here outside built-up areas of 80 km / h?

Then the hearing sheet is followed by the notice of the fine within the next three to six weeks.

According to the new catalog of fines, there is a risk of one point and a fine of € 100.00 at speeds of more than 20 km / h. From 26 km / h one point, a month’s driving ban and a fine of € 150.00 are stipulated. Repeat offenders must expect that an aggravating intent will be accepted across the board and novice drivers are threatened with the extension of the probationary period and compulsory participation in a follow-up seminar.

But it doesn’t have to come to that. Because flashing is carried out here with a laser measuring device of the type Poliscan Speed. This is still recognized as a standardized measuring method. Its excessive susceptibility to errors has been proven in a court-proof manner by countless tests.

Its measuring principle is simply explained. The speed camera sends out laser pulses over a measuring distance of 10 to 75 meters. If a vehicle drives into this beam expansion, the signals are reflected and sent back to the device. Using the data obtained from this, the travel time for the route and therefore the speed is calculated. As soon as the maximum permissible value is exceeded, the camera is activated.

But even this chronological order is prone to errors. Because with a high volume of traffic, for example when driving in a convoy, a reliable assignment is no longer possible. Then the fine office can no longer reliably prove that the specified speed was actually measured on the vehicle shown.

There is a widening of the rays along the length of the measuring section. This very often causes a distortion of the return signals. This leads to incorrect data processing and thus to incorrect speed information in at least every second case.

Incorrect setting of the scan angle (a very common setup error) can also have serious consequences. Even the slightest deviation, even if it is only one degree, automatically leads to excessive speed information.

If it is not documented in the file that the officers have been trained on the device, the measurement must also be discarded.

The calibration of the device is often not properly documented or even expired. In this case, too, the person concerned is to be acquitted.

These and many other errors can be found when evaluating your raw measurement data and measurement protocols.

For this reason, lawyer Andreas Junge has an independent expert report drawn up for each measurement process. This lists the errors found and their effects on the measurement.

This makes it the basis for requests for evidence that prove the inaccuracy of your measurement.

The result is an acquittal or the proceedings are at least discontinued.

In this case, you are spared points in the driving aptitude register (formerly the central traffic register) in Flensburg or even a driving ban.

If you have legal protection insurance, you will not incur any costs for this procedure.

Lawyer Junge has successfully defended nationwide in fine proceedings and traffic criminal matters for years. Every year he oversees around 1000 fine proceedings nationwide, a disproportionately large number of which are discontinued or end with an acquittal.

The law firm has branches in Berlin and Kiel as well as Cottbus. The local distance is not an obstacle to a successful defense.
