Fourteen goals in one match is a record of a separate Czech league. Daniel Mareček, Lamin Jawo and Vasil Kušej scored two goals for the guests. Slovakian goalkeeper Matej Rakovan played the entire duel in the home jersey.
The maximum of the post-revolutionary league so far was ten goals scored in the 1995/96 season in Slavia’s match with Uherský Hradiště (9:1) and in the 2013/14 season in the draw between Jablonec and Znojmo (5:5). Portal idnes.cz informed about it.
Ľubomír Tupta scored a goal and had one assist in Liberec’s 3-0 win over Pilsen. It was the third loss of the season for the guests, Slovan moved to 10th place in the table after the third triumph.
