The majority of the World Cup tickets have been taken, only five places are still available. An overview of what it looks like in the individual continental associations:

Europe:

12 of 13 starting places awarded: Denmark, Germany, Belgium, France, Croatia, Switzerland, Serbia, Spain, England, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal
Still open: Scotland/Ukraine – Wales

Asia:

5 of 5-6 starting places awarded: Qatar (hosts), Iran, South Korea, Japan, Saudi Arabia
Still open: The winner from UAE – Australia will play Peru in the play-off

South America:

4 of 4-5 starting places awarded: Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Ecuador
Still open: Peru will play the winners UAE – Australia in the play-off

North and Central America/Caribbean:

1 of 3-4 starting places awarded: Canada
Still open: The USA, Mexico and Costa Rica are fighting for the last two fixed places on the final day of the game. One of this trio has to go into the play-off against winners Solomon Islands – New Zealand

Africa:

5 out of 5 starting places awarded: Ghana, Morocco, Senegal, Tunisia, Cameroon

Oceania:

0 of 1 starting place awarded
Still open: Winner Solomon Islands – New Zealand meets fourth-placed North and Central America/Caribbean in play-off
