Five new cases of COVID-19 recorded on the Côte-Nord

For a second consecutive day, the results of the Integrated Health and Social Services Center (CISSS) of the Côte-Nord state five new confirmed cases listed in the territory on Wednesday, December 23.

The MRC of Manicouagan recorded three new infections while the MRCs of Sept-Rivières and Haute-Côte-Nord each recorded one additional case.

The total number of confirmed cases since March 23 has reached 280 cases.

The total of active cases now stands at 38 while the territory records 239 recoveries.

Situation on the North Shore

Number of confirmed cases : 280 (+5)

  • March 23 to July 11 *: 123
  • July 12 to December 23: 157 (+5)

* July 11 corresponds to the end of the 1re vague according to the National Institute of Public Health of Quebec (INSPQ).

  • Upper North Shore: 14 (+1)
