The weather was fine, so it was possible: Tessa and Ian were the first to connect in the open air this weekend. To prevent the risks of contamination, the city council had amended the wedding regulations on Friday so that the ceremony could also take place in the garden of the town hall.
Although family and friends were at a distance and with a mask, the fruit trees made for a pretty romantic decor. In addition, more people were admitted than the maximum 25 spectators in the wedding hall. The young couple Ian and Tessa were surprised by the new simple setup and beamed. “And such a wedding in the garden of the town hall has something very special,” said mayor Brent Meuleman (SP.A). “Maybe we should keep it. I am a fan!”
