The Mexican soccer team will face Guatemala in a preparation match for both to be played in Orlando, Florida, in April, the Mexican Federation reported on Thursday (FMF).
The usual annual tour of friendly games in the United States will begin “on Wednesday, April 27, when the Mexican national team faces Guatemala in the newly renovated Camping World Stadium,” the FMF announced in a statement.
The Camping World stadium, with a capacity for 65 thousand spectators, was remodeled with an investment of 60 million dollars. Matches of the United States World Cup-1994 and the Copa América Centenario-2016 were played on its field.
The match against Guatemala will represent the return of the Mexican team to Orlando since 2015, when they drew 2-2 with Costa Rica.

According to statistical data from the FMF, the Mexican and Guatemalan national teams have faced each other 35 times. The balance is 23 wins for the Aztec representative for four wins for the chapín team, in addition to eight draws.
