Undercover agent Kim De Rooij, played by Dutch Anna Drijver (36), was shot after a few minutes in the first episode on Sunday evening. As she got out of her car, a motorcyclist fired at her with an automatic weapon. The injuries were so serious that Kim died in hospital.
When the recordings of Undercover 2 started, Drijver announced almost simultaneously that she was pregnant. But that had nothing to do with her exit, because the scenarios had already been written. Spicy detail: Kim’s boyfriend who was featured in Undercover, is also her real partner: actor Benja Bruining.
