Turkish Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli said that at the moment there are no forest fires left that would pose a threat to settlements. At the same time, the fight continues with five fires out of 240.

“At the moment, there are no fires that pose a threat to populated areas. The burnt areas will not be given for any other use, they will be restored,” the minister said.
The minister added that the authorities are considering sending fire planes to Greece, where forest fires have raged in recent days.
