The Super Bowl is the most watched TV event of the year in the US. Combine that with superstar Rihanna performing live for the first time in 5 years and you have fireworks. The last album of the singer from Barbados also dates from 7 years ago.
Rihanna literally descended into Arizona’s State Farm stadium with the words “Bitch better have my money”. Funnily enough, Rihanna didn’t get a dollar for her performance. That’s not the practice at the Super Bowl.
Then why was she there? The event is the best publicity machine. An estimated 192 million viewers would have followed the game and the intermission concert in the US.
