In Roermond, the driver of a broken value transport car was assisted by the fire brigade. Because the money car’s engine stopped working, the driver could not open the door and the air conditioning stopped working.
With outside temperatures above 30 degrees it quickly became hot in the car. The fire brigade therefore decided to cool the vehicle with water. After an hour, the driver, who had now taken off his shirt, was released. As far as we know, he is doing well, 1Limburg reports. The money car broke down at the Designer Outlet in Roermond.
It is more often the case that value transport drivers cannot get out of their car due to technical problems and the fire brigade cools the car. For example, there were two cashers in Montfoort in the summer of 2017 in a plight and had a colleague in Emmen a year earlier bad luck in the heat.
