SAN DIEGO – The San Diego Fire and Rescue Department responded to a house fire in the Brooklyn Heights area, an area east of Balboa Park.
The fire was first reported around 2:45 p.m. in the 3000 block of Grape Street.
The National City Fire Department is helping fight the flames and there are 31 staff members assigned to the fire.
The fire broke out in an area with a high population density. The burning house was surrounded by a lot of vegetation, and several condominiums. The cause of the incident is unknown.
