Against the background of increasing numbers of asylum seekers, the government of Lower Franconia is currently looking for the possibility of renting properties in order to be able to create communal accommodation for asylum seekers. The authority informs about this in a press release.
We are looking for rental properties throughout Lower Franconia, especially suitable properties in the districts of Aschaffenburg, Haßberge, Main-Spessart, Miltenberg and Würzburg. A good connection to the local public transport is desirable, it says in the communication.
The properties should have self-contained residential units or rooms in which the following accommodation options can be created: individual living areas, sanitary areas, communal kitchens, communal rooms and, if necessary, outdoor facilities for leisure activities, functional rooms, storage / storage rooms (for bicycles, prams, laundry drying room) and a consultation room . According to the notification, the rental property must be equipped with central heating.
The area of the rental property should offer space for 40 to 100 asylum seekers. Accommodation is usually in single rooms with three beds. The rental property must be ready for occupancy at the start of the rental period and comply with the statutory, public and technical requirements (building law / usage permit, fire protection, traffic safety, etc.). The living spaces should be at least partially barrier-free if possible.
