Final Fantasy VII Remake: a playable demo is on the run – Pop culture

Everything suggests that Square Enix will soon offer a playable demo of Final Fantasy VII Remake. We can already see its content in video leaks. Watch out, spoilers.

In terms of video games, one of the first highlights of the year 2020 will undoubtedly be Final Fantasy VII Remake, replaying one of the best RPGs of all time (often cited as the best game of all time, by the way). It is expected for March 3 on PlayStation 4 but we may have the opportunity to taste it before. In recent hours, several videos posted on YouTube suggest the imminent arrival of a playable demo.

On January 1, the MTgamePlayerNr4 channel totally shared a thirty minute sequence, which allow you to discover all or part of the content of the demo. A priori, it will likely make us experience the introduction of Final Fantasy VII Remake, starting with the cutscene that will bring back memories to those who played the original adventure.

A demo of Final Fantasy VII Remake to wait

These numerous videos filled with spoilers – don’t watch them if you want to keep the surprise intact – support a first discovery signed by Gamestat, which unearths the future additions of PlayStation Store (the site had for example unveiled the remake of Resident Evil 3 before formalization). December 25, he was already pointing the finger at the existence of this demo of Final Fantasy VII Remake.

Since then, several clever people have apparently been able to get their hands on this preview of the RPG – thanks to a PKG file to download on a Korean server (it only works on developer consoles). The demo concerns the intrusion of the Avalanche group – led by the hero Cloud – into one of the Mako reactors. Above all, it will allow you to familiarize yourself with the gameplay, knowing that it has evolved enormously since the original opus – released in 1997 on PlayStation.

The most impatient can watch the PlayStation Store, which should soon welcome this little gift thought to start the year off right. As of this writing, Square Enix has yet to formalize anything.
