GOODBYE MR HAFFMANN. Drama by Fred Cavayé, with Daniel Auteuil and Gilles Lellouche. Duration: 1 h 56. Paris 1941. François Mercier is an ordinary man who only aspires to found a family with the woman he loves, Blanche. He is also the employee of a talented jeweler, Mr. Haffmann. But faced with the German occupation, the two men will have no choice but to conclude an agreement whose consequences, over the months, will upset the destiny of our three characters.

PARALLEL MOTHERS. Drama by Pedro Almodovar, with Penélope Cruz and Milena Smit. Duration: 2 hours. Two women, Janis and Ana, meet in a hospital room about to give birth. They are both single and got pregnant by accident. Middle-aged Janis has no regrets and in the hours leading up to the delivery, she is overjoyed. Ana, on the other hand, is a scared, remorseful and traumatized teenager. Janis tries to cheer her up as they sleepwalk down the hospital hallway. The few words they exchange during these hours will create a very close bond between them, which chance will take care of complicating in a way that will change both of their lives.
