Gerard Piqué expressed his great disappointment after the humiliating eight defeat by Bayern Munich. He criticized everyone, including himself, and demanded immediate change.

“A terrible match. Catastrophic feelings. Shame, that’s the right word,” Pique said in comments after the match.
“We cannot compete in Europe like this, and this is not the first, second or third year. I hope we benefit from it,” he added.
The Barcelona defender continued, “We have to analyze. The team needs to change and here I am not talking about the players or the coaching staff only, I am talking about the club as a whole that needs to change.”
Pique continued, “We are very embarrassed. We have reached rock bottom.”
And about the change in the team as players, Pique said, “If the team needs renewal of blood, then I am the first to introduce myself to leave.”
Then he continued, “Actually I do not know how to classify that, but in fact we touched the bottom and there must be a change, not just at the level of the players. We have reached a stage where we are not heading in a correct way.”
And he concluded, “Barcelona must always be in the front, competing and winning.”
Barcelona went out this season empty-handed after losing all the championships He left the Champions League for the third time in a row in the quarter-finals and lost the league to Real Madrid, in addition to losing the cup and the Super Cup.
Bayern Munich will meet the winner between Manchester City or Olympic Lyon in the semi-finals of the tournament.
