The Serbian coach Milutin Seridovic “Micho”, Zambia’s coach, revealed the reasons for his visit to Egypt on Saturday.

Micho told FilGoal.com: “I come to Egypt today to transit with the delegation of the Zambian junior national team under 15 years, who travel to Croatia to play an international friendly tournament.”

The former Zamalek coach said, “I decided to travel with the national team because I am the coach of the first team and I supervise all national teams in Zambia and also to support the players.”

Micho’s visit to Egypt sparked controversy on social networking sites, with Zamalek looking for a new technical director to succeed Patrice Carteron, who left to train the Saudi cooperation.

Zamalek officials are trying to resolve the coach’s file as quickly as possible to allow time in front of him longer before the expected confrontation with Morocco’s Raja Casablanca in the semi-finals of the African Champions League.

Micho led Zamalek in 13 games in all championships at the beginning of the current season. The White Knight has won 8 times, drawn once, and lost 4 times.
