Liverpool coach Juergen Klopp does not care about the honorary pass that Manchester City intends to stand for Reds during the two teams match on Thursday, after the English Premier League crowning.
Club said at a press conference on Wednesday: “An honorary passage from City? It is a beautiful gesture, but I do not care about it until I am honest.”
“We are going to Al-Ittihad to win the match, not to celebrate what happened a week ago.”
Liverpool officially won the English Premier League 7 rounds before the end of the season after competing with runners-up City.
“I am not sure if I had an honorary path in my training career in Germany, it is a nice English tradition,” Klopp added.
Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola had confirmed that his players would line up against the Liverpool players in an honorary corridor before the two teams match Thursday.
“Of course we will,” said Guardiola about the possibility of his players standing in an honorary pass against Liverpool.
“We always receive the Liverpool team when they come to Al-Ittihad in an incredible way, they cannot complain,” he told a news conference.
Liverpool crowned the Premier League for the 19th time in its history, leaving it one title away from Manchester United, the record holder.
In 30 years Liverpool have played 1149 games since the 1990-91 season in order to catch the 19th title.
Al Hamar won 595 games, 52% of its matches, and won 2075 points.
Liverpool collected 108 points from 60 games against Tottenham as more than he scored points against him, then 105 against Everton and 101 against West Ham.
The Reds scored 100% victories against Brighton, Huddersfield and Notts County.
