Enppi striker Ahmed Ali came close to equaling the number of goals of Hamada Imam, Zamalek legend, in the league championship.
Ahmed Ali scored Enppi’s second goal against El Entag El Harby on Friday, in the 21st round matches of the Egyptian League.
The goal is the first for Ahmed Ali this season, and the first for him in the Enppi shirt, who transferred them on loan in the middle of the season from Pyramids.
The 34-year-old reached with this goal the number (73 goals) in the Egyptian League Championship, equaling the number of Alaa al-Hamuli, the former player of Zamalek and the municipality of Mahalla, and Muhammad Barakat, the former Ismaili and Al-Ahly player, and Ali Abu Greisha, the Ismaili legend.
Ali’s goals are divided into (18 goals in the Ismaili shirt – 13 goals for the Zamalek shirt – 41 goals for the Arab Contractors shirt – one goal for an Enppi shirt).
Ahmed Ali also approached the equation of Hamada, the imam of the legend of Zamalek, who scored 74 goals in the league championship, as he is now separated by one goal.
After registering this season, Ahmed Ali continued to score in the Egyptian League for the 11th consecutive season since the 2009/2010 season.
Ahmed Ali did not score in the league with the Pyramids, Tigris Valley and Assiut petrol shirts. He preceded the professional player in the Saudi club Al Hilal, scoring two goals there in the Saudi League Championship.
Ahmed Ali needs 5 more seasons of scoring, to be the player who has scored the most goals in the Egyptian League in consecutive seasons.
