An engineer by training, he was notably director of technical services for the city of Draguignan under the municipality of Max Piselli, director of the mayor’s office at the start of Richard Strambio’s mandate and, also, secretary general of the Pizzorno group.
Very involved in community life, he long held the positions of president of the Rotary club dean of Draguignan and those of chamber president at the commercial court.
Married to Dominique Franceschi, former head of the Draguignan law school, Jean-Paul Llavador was the son-in-law of the late Félix Franceschi, founder of the Nice Matin Draguignan agency.
His sudden death at the age of 69 leaves his three children, three grandchildren, family and many friends in deep sorrow.
His funeral will take place this Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in Saint-Michel church, in private.
A ceremony will take place in his memory after the confinement.
