Fiers recalls poultry preparations due to possible contamination …

Wholesaler Fiers, in consultation with the federal food agency FAVV, is removing minced poultry, poultry slices and poultry tree trunks from sale due to the possible presence of salmonella, the company announced on Wednesday. Fiers asks not to consume the products and to return them to the point of sale, where they will be refunded.

The affected poultry preparations of the Fiers brand were sold from 5 August in stores of Carrefour Market and Carrefour Express in Borgerhout, Bruges, Oudegem, Gent Nederkouter and Nieuwpoort. They are packed in transparent dishes.
