Field Hospital in Chad Providing Treatment Services to Sudanese Refugees: 6,110 Medical Cases Treated

The field hospital, which was built by the state in the Chadian city of Amdgrass, in support of the Sudanese refugee brothers in the Republic of Chad, continued to provide its treatment services by receiving various groups of Sudanese and members of the local community.

The number of people received by the hospital since its opening until yesterday reached 6,110 medical cases, and the medical team performed 54 successful surgeries.

The Emirati humanitarian team, located in Amdgrass, made a field visit to the hospital in order to check on the conditions of the patients, provide them with psychological support and closely monitor their health conditions.

Hospital reviewers praised the distinguished health services provided to them in accordance with the highest standards, and the professionalism of the medical staff who provided them with all services, from their arrival to the hospital until their departure.

The humanitarian team consists of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, the Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, and the Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Works, in coordination with the UAE Aid Coordination Office in Chad.
