Luc Netten is well on its way to Feyenoord. The defender is expected to sign his contract in Rotterdam this working week, after an agreement in principle had previously been reached.
The right-footed central defender previously played in the under-21 division for NEC Nijmegen, but since this season has had a permanent place and a shirt number in the main selection of the Nijmegen team. The native of Ossen wore the PSV shirt for ten years before his employment with NEC.
Netten made his Eredivisie debut for NEC at a young age. That debut took place last September in an away match at Het Kasteel, where Sparta Rotterdam was held to a 1-1 draw by NEC. Netten came on in the sixty-third minute for former Feyenoord player Philippe Sandler.
Netten will soon be added to the under-21 team of head coach Melvin Boel. The right leg is passed through Transfer market estimated at a current transfer value of twenty-five thousand euros, but will ultimately be transfer-free.
