Festival America 2022: America and its writers

AMERICA 2022 will welcome a choir made up of about sixty voices, and as many sensibilities, identities and trajectories that tell the reality of America and the world today. Through their words, these novelists, short stories, poets or essayists let out a cry of revolt or indignation, sound the alarm, call for combat, resistance, or affirm the right to be different.

At Vincennes, they will meet the public and readers, share their views, and above all make their voices heard.

This anniversary edition will also be an opportunity for AMERICA to welcome a large delegation of writers from indigenous communities in Canada and the United States. With them, another story will be tackled: that of peoples who almost disappeared under the battering of conquest and acculturation, but who continue to maintain a special relationship with the world around them.
