Ferrero factory in Arlon also closed next week, unions are together with management: “Communication is difficult”

“Normally there would be production again next week. The FASFC has withdrawn the production permit, and the management has already decided that there will be no production next week. Also next week it will be focused on maintenance of the machines”, knows Bart Vannetelbosch, national secretary at ACV Food and Services.

The management may need more time to answer questions from the FASFC. It is up to the FASFC to return the permit, which would allow production to restart. In any case, the management assumes that there will be no production next week. The FASFC itself cannot provide information about their specific requirements towards and discussions with Ferrero. In any case, the unions will ask for clarification during their consultation – this afternoon – with the management.
