Ferrari will occupy the first row in Miami! Pole position for Leclerca – F1sport.cz

Qualifying for the historically first Miami Grand Prix took place at high temperatures. The track was over 50 ° C. Unlike training, however, she did without an accident or interruption.

Esteban Ocon has to change his chassis after the accident in the last practice and thus did not enter the qualification. Therefore, only four riders finished in the first part – Magnussen, Chou, Albon and Latifi. The Haas rider did not have a team radio at his disposal, and Chou paid for the traffic in the end.

Alonso, Russell, Vettel, Ricciardo and Schumacher then advanced to the third part.

In the first attempts of the third part, the Verstappen came first. Together with the Ferrari drivers, they were in one-tenth of a second. In the second attempt, Verstappen drove off the track in the first sector and had to give up the bike. Ferrari drivers have improved. Sainz beat Verstappen’s first time by 5,000ths, Leclerc even more.

Ferrari will occupy the first row at the start, Red Bull the second. Bottas, who will be in fifth place, drove well.
