“After an extensive technical investigation, we, the FIA, have completed our analysis of the Ferrari engine and reached an agreement with the Italian team. What this arrangement specifically entails, the two parties will hold between them.”
“The FIA and Scuderia Ferrari have made some technical agreements to improve the monitoring of all Formula 1 sources during the coming Formula 1 seasons. Ferrari will also assist the FIA in other areas, such as research activities in the field of carbon emissions and sustainable fuels, “according to the sports federation.
A relatively vague explanation of the FIA, which does not specifically address whether something was actually wrong with the Ferrari engine and what that was, but it seems that Ferrari is tapped on its fingers, although there are no real consequences for the team from Maranello.
