Ferrari F1 Representative “Robert Schwartzman deserves a place in F1″[F1-Gate.com]

-Ferrari F1 Team Principal Mattia Binotto highly commends Scuderia Ferrari development driver Robert Schwartzman. He claims he deserves a place in F1.

23-year-old Robert Schwartzman will make his F1 Grand Prix weekend debut in the first free practice session of the F1 United States Grand Prix in Austin next month, but is also scheduled to participate in the final round of the Abu Dhabi GP in Austin. F1.

Robert Schwartzman’s track record includes winning the 2019 F3 Championship and second place to Oscar Piastri in last year’s FIA-F2 Championship.

Born in Tel Aviv, Israel, Robert Schwartzman has experience in Formula 1 cars from 2020 onwards, including Young Drivers testing in Abu Dhabi, Haas F1 team testing in 2021 and older car testing in Maranello.

“Robert is a great driver,” said Mattia Binotto.

“Especially in Formula 1, I think he is very fast. Whenever he drives Formula 1, he has been very fast in Formula 1 itself. There are probably drivers who are great in Formula 3 or Formula 2 but not enough in Formula 1.”

“I think Robert is one of the polar opposites. He was certainly great in F3, F2, but he is very strong in F1. So it’s a shame he doesn’t have a place right now.”

Robert Schwartzman, who spent a year on the sidelines due to the lack of suitable seats available at the end of last season, kept busy in the Ferrari simulator in Maranello, while on race weekends I am with the team.

Mattia Binotto praised Robert Schwartzman for his work on the simulator and his contribution to the Ferrari development program.

“He worked a lot on the simulator this season,” said Mattia Binotto.

“He did a lot to help our team develop the current car.

“I think he’s improved as a driver and developed his skills, and he’s much more mature today than he was a year ago, so I think he deserves a place.”

“I know it is very difficult in the current situation, but I hope it will be in the future.”
