Ferrari introduces a new version of the 812 model. It is nicknamed Competizione and will be available in two body variants.

There is a classic coupe, but also made with a removable roof panel. This was added to the new designation by the letter A – so it is called Ferrari 812 Competizione A.
In both cases, the drive is provided by a twelve-cylinder fork with a volume of 6.5 liters, which offers an output of 610 kW (830 hp) at 9250 rpm. Thanks to this, it is the most powerful internal combustion engine (hybrid drives do not count), which has ever appeared in the road Ferrari.
The Italian carmaker also boasts the ability of the V12 to rotate up to 9,500 rpm, which is another first in the brand’s history. The engine is connected to a modified seven-speed automatic transmission, which should shift a little faster again.
The torque reaches a maximum in seven thousand, namely 692 Nm. Thanks to this, the Competizione accelerates from standstill to one hundred in 2.85 seconds, to two hundred in 7.5 seconds and starts at more than 340 km / h.

Ferrari further emphasizes that the engineers tried to achieve the lowest possible weight, resulting in a dry weight of 1487 kg. The weight of the targa has not yet been revealed, as well as the dynamic parameters. However, they will certainly be as admirable as with a coupe. By the way, the targa roof panel is made of light carbon fiber and can be easily hidden in the luggage compartment after removal.
The Italians also emphasized aerodynamics, as evidenced by a number of striking aerodynamic elements. The rear view is especially interesting, which reveals a massive diffuser with non-traditional exhaust tailpipes, large openings in the bumper and, in the case of a coupe, an aluminum panel instead of the rear window.
The car is equipped as standard with turning the rear wheels or a new version of the Slide Slip Control system, which is basically a special driving mode that allows you to drive in a controlled and car-controlled skid.
Unfortunately, the price of the new 812 versions was not revealed by the manufacturer. And we don’t even know how many pieces he plans to build.
