In Kirchheim unter Teck near Stuttgart, a man shot his wife dead in front of a supermarket on Wednesday evening. The 59-year-old then killed himself, the police said. The emergency services were alerted around 7:30 p.m. after passers-by heard shots in front of the supermarket.
The police found the 58-year-old woman dead in the entrance area of the market. The man was found dead in his car in the parking lot. The murder weapon was found in the car, police said. There is no danger to the population.
The criminal police took up the investigation.
