Former Ghanaian striker Ahmed Felix, the player of Al-Ahly and Zamalek, stated that he was not happy to be inside the white team, stressing that if he had the opportunity, he would not go to Zamalek in this period.
“In fact, your moves as a footballer for some clubs are not a good choice,” Felix added in statements on the “Ontime Sports 1” screen today, Wednesday. “During this period, I wanted to move to Qatar, but I received an offer from Zamalek and I love the Egyptian fans.”
He continued: “I did not have the opportunity and time to prove my presence, in fact I was not happy with Zamalek during this period.”
Felix spoke about Asante Kotoko striker Kwame Abuko, saying: “He is a very good player and he will be a surprise player if he comes to Egypt. I hope this player will come to Al-Ahly.”
The name Abuko was associated with moving to the ranks of Zamalek during the recent winter transfers to be a replacement for Mustafa Muhammad, who moved to the Turkish Galatasaray ranks.
The Zamalek administration, in turn, strengthened the offensive side by contracting with the duo, Marwan Hamdy, coming from the clearing Egypt, and the Tunisian Saif El Din El Jaziri, coming from the Arab Contractors on loan, with the right to final purchase.
