FC Blau Weiss Linz Appeals Verdict in Licensing and Admission Process

After as part of this year’s Licensing and Admission Process initiated procedure against ADMIRAL Bundesliga promoted FC Blau Weiss Linz after the Senate 5 had sentenced the Upper Austrians to a fine of 20,000 euros (of which 5,000 euros conditionally) after being asked to comment and conducting a party hearing (we reported), the club immediately took a position on this and just announced the following in a club broadcast:

“Contract from autumn last year, which has since been terminated”

“We take note of Senate 5’s verdict. It relates to a contract from autumn last year which has since been terminated. After analyzing the written verdict and consulting with our legal counsel, we have decided to appeal the verdict.”

The Blue and Whites was in breach of license provision 4.4.1.4 (Transfer Proceeds Sharing), 9.1. b) (truthful and complete information) and delay in terms of non-submission of further documents.
