FC Bayern Munich: How Bayern exploit the Bundesliga

Photo: Peter Kneffel / dpa +++ dpa-Bildfunk +++

FC Bayern Munich is the most successful soccer club in Germany. The record champion has also won so many championships because Bayern regularly buy the best players from the Bundesliga in the regular national competition. Sometimes they even come to Säbener Straße free of charge. We show you how Bayern exploit the Bundesliga.

The same game for years: A soccer player causes a sensation in the Bundesliga – and then Bayern buy it. The accusation: Sometimes Bayern don’t even need this player, they just want to weaken the competition. And the result: boredom in the Bundesliga. And who was responsible for it for years and became the enemy of the Bundesliga? Uli Hoeneß, the eternal manager of FC Bayern, later also president, now honorary president.

We give you an overview of the professionals Bayern have signed over the years from the Bundesliga and evaluate how these players did at Bayern. For this we have divided the players into four categories: flop, followers, reinforcement and top.

Here are all transfers from the Bundesliga to FC Bayern Munich:
