Robert Lewandowski won the prestigious “Kicker” point classification for the best footballer of the Bundesliga season. This is the first distinction of this type in his career.
“Kicker” scores players on a 1-6 scale after each match. The highest score is 1 – this is a “world class” awarded only in extraordinary cases. The average decides about the place in the general classification. Not everyone is on the list, but only players who have been judged at least in the middle of matches.
The average Lewandowski scores from the whole season is 2.43. The Pole clearly overtook Lukas Hradecky from Bayer Leverkusen. Goalkeeper “Pharmacists” finished the game with an average of 2.74. The podium was completed by Joshua Kimmich (2.78).
For Lewandowski, this is another distinction at the end of the Bundesliga season. The pole with 34 goals became the top scorer. He was also chosen as the player of the season in a plebiscite organized by the league’s official website.
Rafał Gikiewicz was also highly rated. The Pole who says goodbye to Union Berlin took fifteenth place. His average score from last season is 2.94.
Łukasz Piszczek (3.48) took the 94th place. He shares them with five other players: Theodor Gebre Selassie, Joshua Guilavoguim, Robin Koch, Stefan Poschen and Sebastian Rode.
Adam Bodzka from Fortuna Duesseldorf was also classified among the players with the Polish passport. With an average of 3.93 he took 186th place. His club colleague Dawid Kownacki was not included in the ranking. It is similar with Krzysztof Piątek, who, after moving to Hertha, did not manage to play the required number of matches.
