Miralem Pjanić was supposed to start preparations for the new season in a week, in which he will represent the colors of FC Barcelona. Bosniak, however, has to wait for a meeting with new colleagues. He was diagnosed with coronavirus infection.
Until recently, Miralem Pjanić represented the colors of Juventus. A few months ago, however, FC Barcelona came to an agreement with the “Old Lady” on the exchange.
Under it, Bosniak will go to Camp Nou, and Arthur Melo will play in Turin. Blaugrana’s new midfielder has to wait a bit to meet his new colleagues.
The team led by Ronald Koeman will resume training on August 31. Pjanic will be absent for sure. All because he was infected with the coronavirus.
The footballer is doing well and is currently in home isolation. There are no serious symptoms of the disease, but must remain solitary so as not to infect other players.
He will end his quarantine after 15 days at the earliest. Only after this time will he be able to appear in Barcelona to begin preparations for the next games.
In the 2019/2020 season, Miralem Pjanić played 43 matches for Juventus. He scored three goals and assisted his teammates eight times.
