Faster Bun as a Node.js replacement for JavaScript and TypeScript

Bun is a modern software system for JavaScript and TypeScript similar to the well-known Node.js and Deno. It’s just faster. At the same time, it implements about 90% of all functions and APIs from Node.js. Bun is so fast because it is hand-optimized and written in the Zig language.

The source codes are and GitHubu and Bun is released under the MIT license, except for dependencies that may have other licenses. It is easy to install curl -fsSL https://bun.sh/install | bash. It has been in the works for almost a year and was released three days ago version 0.1.2. If you have an older version, updating is trivial bun upgrade.
