Fashion house Gucci uses 37 year old song (“Mani meme”) from Belgian Pas De Deux in international campaign

Alessandro Michele’s “Epilogue” collection for Gucci refers to designs from the 60s and 70s. Michele wants to “celebrate the magic of fashion by showing what goes on behind the scenes” in the campaign.

Walter Verdin from Pas De Deux, one of the composers of the song “Mani meme” (phonetic for “but not with me”), already made a striking video clip for the song in black and white in 1983, which is still very much gets positive reactions on YouTube.
