Farming families from Cesar receive property titles from the ANT

The National Land Agency (ANT) delivered rural property titles to farming families from three Cesar municipalities and to the National Infrastructure Agency (ANI).

The event took place at the house of culture of the town of Bosconia, where eight families who have properties in Bosconia, Valledupar and Tamalameque benefited, and received 10 titles (one of them received three resolutions), and two were given to the ANI on land ​​​​​​​in Bosconia and Valledupar, for a total of 12 titles.

Jaime Sánchez, coordinator of the ANT in Cesar, pointed out: “They are farming families who have been waiting years for their properties to be formalized. We will continue to formalize the land to promote ownership, legal security and agrarian reform.”

The 12 buildings delivered have a territorial extension of 71.3 hectares, located in Boca de Tigre, Zapatosa, Aguas Blancas and Mariangola, among other villages and towns. On these lands, farming families do activities such as dairy farming, cassava cultivation, planting corn, lemon, watermelon and pumpkin. At the same time, the ANI acquired two vacant lots with the ANT to build sections of roads that will benefit the community at large.

“Thanks to the National Government and the director of the ANT, Felipe Harman, because we now have the legal titles to our land,” said the beneficiary.

The title delivery processes continue with the ANT, which will soon deliver seven more property titles to farmer families from Chiriguaná, El Copey and Valledupar; was not present at the event.

These resolutions formalize the rural property of 79.7 hectares. Beneficiary families can come to request the documents at the ANT headquarters in the city of Valledupar, located at 16 street # 9 – 30, 11th floor, offices 1104, 1106 and 1107, which are open Monday to Friday from 8 in the morning.

With the delivery of these documents representing their land and the legalization of their homes by ANT, these farming families will be able to continue growing farm products and raising their animals with peace of mind, with access to credits and potential development projects.
