The accident was around 15.00 yesterday seydişehir– It occurred on the 52nd kilometer of the Antalya highway. Koçer, who was seriously injured in the accident and was taken to Seydişehir State Hospital by ambulance, could not be saved and died despite all the interventions made there.

A ceremony was held for Barış Koçer on the university campus. The ceremony, Konya Technical University Rector Babür Özçelik, Selçuk University Rector Metin Aksoy, Koçer’s colleagues, students and relatives attended. Participants in the ceremony could not hold back their tears. Speaking at the ceremony, President Babür Özçelik stated that Koçer has a benevolent personality and that they are sad to lose a valuable scientist.
The body of Barış Koçer was taken to Yazır Cemetery after he was given halalness. Koçer’s funeral will be buried after the noon prayer.
