According to Calciomercato, Arsenal had joined players like Juventus and Ajax in the race for a striker who had conquered Brazilian soccer with an excess of goals since breaking into Sao Paulo’s first team.

In 2020, Brenner scored 22 hugely impressive goals in 38 games.

Cincinnati fans will know deep down that MLS is just a stepping stone to something bigger. For now, however, let us enjoy the moment.
