Fans have forgiven the director for his prank.
Leonid Gaidai thought in vain that the audience could be fooled. The director went to the trick, but the fans managed to figure it out.
There were spectators who especially carefully watched such films by the master of the comedy genre as “Prisoner of the Caucasus” and “Sportloto-82”. The action of the first picture takes place in the Caucasus, and the second – on the way to the Crimean city of Yuzhnogorsk, which has become the fruit of the imagination of the filmmaker.
Both tapes show the same location. This is a large tree with a stone, near which Nina and Shurik dried their things and from which Nikulin threw walnuts. Gaidai liked this place so much that he decided to show it in his other project.
At the same time, Leonid Iovich was not embarrassed that the public might notice a plot oversight – after all, the action takes place in completely different places, and the tree is the same. However, the fans forgave Gaidai for his prank.
