Good news for supporters of the France team and football fans with the permission of fan-zones during the competition which will take place from June 11 to July 11. It was Prime Minister Jean Castex who confirmed during an interview for The Parisian that fan zones in France will be allowed during the competition. Football fans will therefore be able to come together to follow the competition, but with a lot of precautionary measures, as Castex pointed out.

“We are not going to ban fan-zones, but we will put in place an adapted health protocol”, declared the French Prime Minister. Even if strong health measures will surely be taken, the news of the authorized holding of fan-zones in France during the Euro is encouraging for football fans, deprived for months of stadiums with the matches behind closed doors.
