WWE star Scarlett, meanwhile, responded to a fan’s bizarre attack at the WWE Houseshow on Saturday, Nov. 12, in Peoria, Illinois. During the Saturday Night Main Event show, Drew McIntyre had a match against Scarlett’s husband, Karrion Kross. Scarlett interfered in part of the match and punched McIntyre to get the crowd’s attention.
According to PWInsider, Scarlett addressed the crowd after slapping “The Scottish Psychopath” when a woman in the third row threw an entire plastic cup filled with an alcoholic drink at the wrestler. A fan who was at ringside told PWInsider:
“WWE security immediately ran to Scarlett and I heard her say she was fine and then got right back to work.”
After the attack, the woman and her family (they weren’t friends) were expelled by the security forces and the match went on as originally planned. Scarlett has now commented on the incident in a tweet and wrote:
“As an elegant woman from Chicago, I’m not surprised something like this is happening in Peoria.” 🤢

As a classy woman from Chicago, it doesn’t surprise me that something like this could happen in Peoria. 🤢

Scarlett is currently her husband’s manager at WWE. According to another report, Scarlett has abandoned plans for her to manage a WWE star other than Karrion Kross. In 2020, Karrion Kross signed with WWE and was expected to make his WWE NXT debut alongside his real-life wife, Scarlett, later that summer.
According to Fightful Select, Scarlett had a series of introductions even before Karrion Kross arrived. Sources have indicated that Scarlett was originally scheduled to manage Damian Priest in September 2019 for the first few weeks at WWE NXT. However, Priest felt that she was not a good match for him and immediately declined. After Priest rejected the idea, the Scarlett character was shelved until Karrion Kross got promoted.
Karrion Kross and Scarlett were released by WWE in 2021. However, they re-signed with the company and returned to SmackDown on August 5th.
