Cousi Invest AS is the parent company in Jan Petter Sissener’s group, consisting of Sissener AS which is responsible for the asset management part, in addition to Sirius Securities, Villa Utsikten Frilufts-Idrettsbarnehage, and Melkeveien 15.
After delivering a strong year in 2020 with a profit before tax of more than NOK 50 million, last year was not as profitable for Sisseners group, where profit before tax fell to NOK 39 million, according to the annual accounts.
Revenues were also somewhat lower and fell from NOK 119 million to NOK 100 million last year.
The bottom line fell from NOK 42 million to NOK 30 million. From this it appears in the annual accounts that NOK 1.5 million was distributed to ordinary dividends, while the rest was transferred to other equity.

Strong capital increase

In the report, the company points out that it is nevertheless satisfied with the result and that total total assets in the group have increased significantly, ending with a net increase of NOK 1,654 million last year. This corresponds to an increase of 49.1 per cent towards 2020.
The return on the funds under the company’s management was 7.4 per cent in Sissener Canopus, and 7.8 per cent in Sissener Corporate Bond Fund last year.
In comparison, the main index on the Oslo Stock Exchange rose by more than 24 per cent last year.
