fake emails from La Poste and …

Swiss Post and CFF are affected by a wave of phishing. Thousands of fake emails have been sent to customers.

La Poste warned in a statement Monday that emails from the sender [email protected] were to be immediately deleted and that no link should be clicked. Official e-mails on the status of shipments always mention the sender [email protected]. La Poste’s warning follows information reported by the daily Tages-Anzeiger.

La Poste would like to remind you that it never asks its customers to provide personal data such as passwords or credit card numbers by phone or email. It also does not ask for a sum of money to allow home delivery of the package or a shipment. If a call or message seems suspicious, she advises her customers to contact her customer service or visit her site.

CFF has also been the target of online fraudsters for a week. The ex-regulator does not know how many people are affected because the phishing emails are sent directly by the fraudsters.

On their site, SBB says it is seeing an increase in malware and phishing emails in circulation. They aim to obtain personal data such as the login for the purchase of tickets online or to infect the computer or smartphone via a link or an attachment. The Fairtiq app, jointly offered by 21 public transport companies, is also affected.
