What Metrorex says

Metrorex says there was a breakdown on the train on Highway 4 between Grivita and Basarab metro stations, and passengers on the train were notified, being disembarked through the tunnel “safely and guided to continue the journey”.

  • “We note that the passengers of the train were disembarked safely and accompanied in the tunnel, about 100 m, to the platform of Basarab station.
  • After disembarking the passengers from the train, the tunnel is checked for tension. The defective train is to be withdrawn from the depot and checked for the cause of the fault and repair.
