Fail on PlayStation Plus is giving away free game

A likely flaw in PSN is allowing its subscribers to download a popular horror game for free, and it’s nothing short of Resident Evil 7, which is being able to join the pack of games made available in the month of August.

It is not yet known exactly how many regions the alleged flaw is operating in, but several users around the world reported that they managed to catch the Resident Evil 7, for free. So far, subscribers from countries like Holland, France, USA and Brazil have already reported that it is possible to do the maneuver.

On internet forums, subscribers have reported that to be able to download the game for free, all they had to do was download the Demo-teaser de Resident Evil 7: Beginning Hour on PS Store. When opening the demo in the sequence, in the main menu, they chose to buy the full game, from this, a sequence follows on the screen and the title goes to the subscriber’s library.

So far, it is not known what led to the unlocking of the title on the platform, nor what are the consequences of downloading it under these conditions.

It’s not the first time Sony has provided this type of episode. In 2019, the UK PSN also had an episode where the game Marvel’s Spider-Man appeared as free on the platform, causing quite a stir at the time.
