PEOPLE’S MIND – Circulating in Whatsapp (WA) groups regarding the benefits of coconut water which is claimed to be able to eliminate viruses.
During the Covid-19 pandemic that occurred, there were many claims related to herbal medicines that could kill the virus.
Some time ago, circulating in WA regarding the function of coconut water with several recipes claimed to be able to eliminate the virus.
“Please help inform those who have Covid-19. This is a medicine given from God that is easy to get and very effective. One seed of water young coconut, one lime squeezed, a tablespoon of salt. Everything is stirred and the water is drunk, it is guaranteed that one hour later the virus will disappear,” the message said.
From the information contained in the message, the claim of young coconut water with a mixture of lime and salt comes from Bau Bau, Southeast Sulawesi.
This information was denied by the Head of the Covid-19 Handling Task Force Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI), Prof. Zubairi Djoerban.
