A quarter of new Belgian cases of coronavirus have been detected in the municipality of Antwerp alone in recent days. Faced with this rise in the epidemic in his city, the mayor Bart De Wever has just announced a series of additional measures:

- 2. Horeca establishments will be obliged to keep customer data.
- 3. Wearing a mask will be compulsory in all markets and fairs. This measure also applies in all spaces accessible to the public, except if it is consuming or in the event of static activities where distances are sufficiently guaranteed. “Anyone in a cafe going to the bathroom or walking through a gym will need to wear a mask.”
- 4. High-risk behavior will be prohibited related to consumption such as sharing alcoholic beverages and water pipes.
- 5. It will be forbidden to buy alcohol to take between midnight and 7 a.m. to fight against displacement
- 6. The rules for events remain the same, but the gathering of more than 10 people will be prohibited when it takes place outside of family reunions or when the rules are not respected.
