The Thionville public prosecutor’s office recorded an 85% increase in proceedings related to domestic violence. “This represents 830 procedures out of the 12,000 that are transmitted to us over the year, all disputes combined”, expands the prosecutor of Thionville, Brice Partouche. All these procedures do not necessarily lead to legal proceedings. However, the problem is taken very seriously by the court. It is implementing two new adapted measures, starting this spring.
A specialized audience each month
