Facebook allows hate speech against Russian soldiers

The meta platforms Facebook and Instagram are obviously changing the way they deal with hate messages at short notice due to the war in Ukraine. They allow according to the news agency Reuters for the time being, threats and calls for violence against Russians or at least Russian soldiers if they are made in connection with the Russian attack on Ukraine. However, only in the following three countries: Russia, Ukraine and Poland.

There it is now also allowed to call for the assassination of Russian President Vladimir Putin or Belarusian incumbent Alexander Lukashenko. Meta has not yet commented on the changes when asked.
